After their 2-0 defeat against Roma, Empoli will try to redeem themselves on Saturday at 3 p.m. when they take on Spezia at the Castellani. Zanetti has no major doubts about the lineup: de Winter remains favored despite Ismajli’s recovery while Satriano is clearly favored over Piccoli to lead the attack.

Spezia has not won since Nov. 13 and is in desperate need of points. However, Gotti must contend with the disqualifications of Caldara and Ampadu and numerous absences due to injury. He is moving toward Wisniewski’s debut.
