ACL rupture for Hans Hateboer
Atalanta will have to do without Hans Hateboer for the rest of the season, due to a ruptured ACL: an injury that was already feared Saturday night, after he left the field against Lazio, and that was confirmed Sunday by the orobic club itself, after the medical examinations the Dutchman underwent.
“Atalanta B.C. announces that in the late morning of today, Sunday, Feb. 12, Hans Hateboer underwent clinical-instrumental examinations and specialist advice that showed the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee,” reads a club note.
“On tomorrow’s day,” the club continues, referring to Monday 13, “the player will undergo arthroscopic reconstruction surgery by Professor Pierpaolo Mariani at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome.
