Ducati’s Terni centaur Danilo Petrucci: “The Superpole race feels like a bumper car.”

Team Ducati Barni centaur Danilo Petrucci, who was fifth in race 1 and sixth in race 2 in the Mandalika Superbike round, expressed his satisfaction: “I’m finally back in the parc ferme, albeit as a best independent. I think the whole team deserved it for the work we did from testing to these first races. Slowly we are getting there.”

Now the goal is the podium: “I’m very happy, the team deserves to be back there and it’s also a confidence boost for me. I’m looking forward to Assen. We thought this was going to be one of the most difficult stages, instead it was the best so far.”

Petrucci did not hide some annoyance with the aggressiveness of the Superpole Race: “It feels like a bumper car, I don’t understand the behavior of some riders.”
