F1, Max Verstappen doesn’t budge ahead of Saudi Arabian GP
F1, Max Verstappen: “We will not have an easy life in Jeddah.”
The first GP showed a clear superiority of Red Bull over all other teams, as evidenced by the one-two win achieved. However, a few days before the second race of the season a in Saudi Arabia, Max Verstappen wanted to dampen rumors about the alleged unbeatability of the Milton Keynes-based stable.
“We started very well in Bahrain, but in Jeddah I am sure we will not have an easy time. It is a completely different circuit, which requires a very fast car. However, although we do not have the highest top speed, thanks to the fast corners we will be able to have a competitive car on this track as well,” the Dutch driver explained to Red Bull’s official channels.
“The changes made to the track are mainly about visibility. Hopefully things have improved for us drivers, as it was very dangerous to drive in some areas. It’s a very nice street circuit with good grip. I always enjoy going back there to race,” concluded Verstappen.
