Edin Dzeko remained on the bench in the match against Iceland due to a physical problem

Not good news is coming from Bosnia’s training camp for Inter. Edin Dzeko, who remained on the bench throughout the match played by the Balkan selection against Iceland, valid for the first day of Euro 2024 qualification, reported a physical problem that will be better evaluated in the coming days.

“He injured his back in the last training session before the match, so he was unavailable,” revealed head coach Faruk Hadzibegic. We hope to recover him for the next match on Sunday night in Slovakia.”

Back problems also for Nerazzurri Skriniar, who has already left Slovakia’s training camp for treatment: the player has reportedly turned to the medical staff of Psg, his next club. A decision that has raised controversy in the Nerazzurri household.
