Jannik Sinner, in semifinals in Miami, has re-entered the top 10 in the world
Jannik Sinner is officially back in the top 10 of the Atp rankings: thanks to reaching the semifinals at the Miami Masters 1000, and defeating Fritz in the night match against Alcaraz, the Italian tennis player is sure to have re-entered the world’s top ten.
Now the goal of the South Tyrolean, who occupies ninth place in the Atp rankings, is to do even better: if he wins the tournament he would rise to sixth in the rankings, hitting his career best ranking. In the night he will face Carlos Alcaraz in the highly anticipated semifinal in Miami.
“Sinner now has to win top tournaments,” national team coach Volandri told Gazzetta dello Sport. “Learning to grow is his best gift, and he needs to face strong opponents.
