Enough Kean at Juventus: Allegri sees Champions zone
Juventus beats Verona 1-0 and moves to within -4 of fourth-place Milan and Atalanta.
Resuming the championship, Juventus’ run continues as Massimiliano Allegri’s side beat Verona 1-0 at home thanks to a goal by Moise Kean. The Bianconeri, on their sixth win in their last seven league games, consolidate their seventh place position, bringing them to just 4 lengths behind fourth-place Milan and Atalanta and the Champions zone.
After a positive start to the game by Verona, it was Juve that took over the game and in the 37th minute found the sharpest chance of the first half through Danilo, who hit the post on a free kick.
In the second half came the hosts’ lead: to sign it Moise Kean in the 56th minute, caught in the box by Locatelli. In the final minutes of the match Juventus was in total control, Di Maria and Bremer came close to doubling the score.
