MotoGp World Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi in an interview with Corriere della Sera spoke about his relationship with Valentino Rossi: “It’s all thanks to him that he created a group, the VR46, fantastic, unique in the World Championship. It is our strength, despite the rivalry we are all united. Then in the race each one looks after himself. If I have to do two sportfights with some of them, we laugh about it at the end.”

The Doctor also advised him before Argentina: “Sometimes he told me to stay calm, other times to be more decisive. He has always been very close to me and supported me in difficult moments. In Argentina he told me in no uncertain terms to bring out my attributes. Coming from him has weight.”

On joining the Academy: “My girlfriend’s cousin knew Carlo Casablanca, the Academy’s athletic trainer. She wore him out until he convinced Uccio and Vale to come watch me ride on the track. That was 2015, the year of my title in the Italian championship. Then I started hanging out at the Ranch and our relationship was born.”
