In Austin, the world champion won ahead of the Honda LCR of Alex Rins and the Ducati Pramac of Jorge Martìn. Down from the podium Aleix Espargarò, grounded Fabio Quartararo who crashes.
Marco Bezzecchi, sixth, retained the top of the standings with a one-point margin just ahead of Bagnaia.
