Camila Giorgi demolishes Matteo Berrettini’s haters
Camila Giorgi in an interview with Corriere della Sera sank the blow very hard on the haters on social media, and in particular on the criticism of Matteo Berrettini and Melissa Satta: “There is so much envy around, people talk without knowing us and without knowing. We live in such a world: everything is done in anonymity, in secret, it’s demeaning…. Behind a keyboard you can hide anyone and anything. Even a great sadness.”
The Macerata tennis player also brushed off attacks against her father: “They say he controls me, that he is despotic. False. I dedicate every success to him, he’s been training me forever, he believed in me from the beginning-I owe him everything. It is not true that he asks me to play until I am forty: I have no restrictions, the last word is always mine.”
His life certainly does not stop with tennis: “I have many projects, to be built little by little. I like to write as a hobby: a children’s novel is among my dreams. I don’t rush myself, I will play tennis as long as I feel like it.”
