Ducati, Enea Bastianini doesn’t feel left out
Ducati centaur Enea Bastianini told Sky he was confident ahead of his return to Jerez de la Frontera: “The latest indications are quite good. Definitely the last test was much more positive than the one done before Austin. I have not wavered. I will leave for Jerez, although I am not 100 percent. I can’t stay at home, I feel like racing. I will try to bring home some points. I would be happy to be in the ten, I hope the painkillers take effect.”
Despite several missed races, Enea Bastianini does not feel cut out of the title race: “Everything is still in play, there are still a lot of points. It’s definitely not over yet, Pecco proved that last year by winning the title with 90 points behind Quartararo. My priority is to get back to 100 percent as soon as possible so I can play for the title.”
“I’m not at this level yet, so my priority is to try to get well. The rest will be seen. I am someone who always thinks about the present and not the future.”
