Contract renewal for Spaniard

Alvaro Bautista will remain with Ducati through the 2024 Superbike season. The announcement of the 1984-born Spanish rider’s renewal came directly from Ducati Corse’s official channels on Thursday.

“After 21 years spent in the elite of world motorcycling, between the paddocks of MotoGP and Superbike, I now feel in an excellent state of shape – Bautista’s words on the sidelines of the announcement – both physically and mentally. I can say that I am in the best moment of my career, I have a lot of fun riding the bike and I have the pleasure of working with a team that I consider a second family.”

“We have decided to continue and I am very happy to stay with the Aruba.it Racing-Ducati team with whom I have always had a wonderful relationship. I’m happy that they still want me too, even though I’m a little old. I want to continue to get great results,” concluded the reigning Sbk champion.
