MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia fears more than just Jorge Martin
Pecco Bagnaia’s words a few days before the Assen GP
After his second place at Sachsenring and a few days before the Assen GP, Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia spoke to the team’s official channels about his feelings ahead of the Dutch weekend.
“We are at the last race before the long summer break, so it will be very important for us to try to consolidate our position in the standings. Last year in Assen we had a fantastic victory and we hope to reconfirm, although I expect a much tighter race and many rivals ready to fight for first place. This circuit is one of my favorites and I am confident that I can do well again this weekend,” said the reigning World Champion.
Also speaking on the Dutch Gp was teammate Enea Bastianini: “Sachsenring went better than I expected and I did not suffer physically as I did at Mugello. For sure in Assen I will arrive a little more tired after the last two consecutive races, but I’m getting to know the bike and I hope that this weekend we can get even closer to the leaders.”
