Virtus Bologna: Nico Mannion’s replacement already found
After the farewell to Nico Mannion, which was made official by Baskonia on Tuesday, Virtus Bologna is on the hunt for a replacement. In particular, the management of the Bologna club has reportedly set its sights on Italian point guard Diego Flaccadori, owned by Dolomiti Energia Trentino.
The class of ’96 is bound to the Trentino club for one more year of his contract, in which, however, there is a Euroleague rescission clause. Flaccadori could thus use it to move to Virtus Bologna.
The Italian guard finished the season averaging 13.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in the Italian league.
