Sporting of Lisbon is not giving up and is about to make a new proposal to Lecce, which would like more than the 19 million euros put on the plate by the green-and-whites for Morten Hjulmand’s player card.
The Giallorossi club, which has long staked out the possibility of selling the Dane, will not object in the face of a new (and more conspicuous) lunge by the Lusitanians. It is the third party involved, namely the player, who must break the buck: the boy dreams of playing in the Premier League, he feels ready to do so, but so far he has had no concrete signals from English clubs.
Roberto D’Aversa, the coach hired to replace Marco Baroni, and the Lecce fans are waiting patiently for the soap opera to close.
