F1, Max Verstappen still fears Ferrari: “It could dominate”
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen points to the Hungarian Grand Prix: “Pro-Ferrari track.”
The 63-point lead over Charles Leclerc does not totally reassure Max Verstappen, who is aware that without the Monegasque’s mistake in France, Ferrari could have scored its third consecutive victory. Focusing his attention on the upcoming Hungarian GP, the Dutch driver did not mince words: “It will be a pro-Ferrari track,” he told Auto, Motor und Sport.
“In Budapest the Ferraris will go away easily,” the world champion explained bluntly. “I think it will be a more difficult race for us, where Ferrari will be really fast. We lack some aerodynamic load compared to Ferrari, and I think we will be behind. The World Championship? We are only halfway there, there are still many races and anything can happen.”
