Amedeo Della Valle explains the choice to stay in Brescia

Denying any rumors of farewell and surprising more than one insider, Amedeo Della Valle and Germani Brescia have decided to continue their sports marriage. The official announcement was made by the Lombard club itself, which reported the words of the MVP of the last season in Serie A, who has been approached in recent weeks by other clubs, first and foremost Virtus Bologna.

“I thank, first of all, Mauro and Faustino Ferrari,” Della Valle told the club’s official channels. “I want to clarify and explain how things went: after a season like the one we experienced, I thought I would look around and figure out what could have been my mission, leaving Brescia free market. The gesture I made toward the company represented the ‘thank you’ for the springboard, the visibility and the emotions experienced last year.”

“It was not an obsession with the level,” added the 29-year-old, “rather to understand what could make me happy, because to play I need this: to be happy and be myself. I am so happy to be there: it is an honor for me to represent Germani and also a great responsibility. This year it will be even more difficult to do it with the double commitment but I feel I have the motivation to do something at a level, with a staff I know and with new players. I, here, am not done yet.”
