Fabio Di Giannantonio is nearing the end of his time with Team Gresini (he will be replaced by Marc Marquez in 2024) but hopes to stay in MotoGp and at Ducati.

After progress in recent weeks, the Roman rider now seems to be one step away from the Mooney VR46 team where he should take Luca Marini’s place. "Continuing with a Ducati will definitely help me, starting from scratch with another bike would not have been the best thing for me", he said after the free practice in Valencia.

And his future "boss" Valentino Rossi will arrive at the very Spanish circuit in the coming days to watch the season finale: "I am happy that Valentino is joining us.
