Lorenzo Insigne got unblocked.
The former Napoli captain, fresh from his mistake from the penalty spot last week, in fact scored his first goal in the Toronto FC jersey on the night, in the match played away to Nashville and won 4-3.
At 3-2, to which Federico Bernardeschi also contributed, scoring on a penalty kick, Insigne received the ball on his tile but instead of letting off his classic shot on the turn, he aimed for the first post, surprising the goalkeeper for the poker that ended hostilities.
The hosts’ final goal was useless.
