Great uncertainty about Rafael Nadal’s future: the words of the Majorcan
Rafael Nadal, interviewed by Movistar on the occasion of the Copa del Rey final, spoke about his very complicated moment, which has lasted for quite some time now.
The Majorcan star, now nearing 38 years old (he will be 38 next June 3), had to forfeit the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, on his beloved clay court, due to ongoing physical problems that he struggles to overcome. Here are his words.
"It is becoming difficult for me. &It’s been a difficult year and a half, I’m trying every day. "I’m not ruling out anything, not even being in Barcelona or Madrid, but at the moment I can’tò get there because of physical problems".
"On a personal level everything is fine; on a professional level è difficult. Many people have mental problems, and I have them too when in work I can’t fight for my goals. But my problem è mostly physical. I have abdominal problems since I came back from Australia. We are evaluating day by day”.
