UYBA makes official the arrival of Francesca Scola
Official: Francesca Scola è a new Busto Arsizio player
UYBA, through a statement issued on its official channels, has announced the signing of Italian player class 2001 Francesca Scola, who played last season with the jersey of San Bernardo Cuneo, where she made only two appearances while scoring six points.
"A new “butterfly” is about to spread its wings at the e-work Arena. Uyba Volleyball è is pleased to announce the arrival in Busto Arsizio of Francesca Scola. Born in Milan on Sept. 15, 2001, 183 centimeters tall, with a degree in economics, Uyba’s new setter, despite her young age, already boasts more than decent experience at the highest levels of Italian women’s volleyball.
Francesca Scola è put herself in great prominence already in the youth categories. Approaching volleyball at the age of 11, she soon expressed her great talent. With the jersey of Volleyro di Casal De’ Pazzi she won the Italian Under 16 title in 2016, and twice the Under 18 title in 2017 and 2018. Titles that Francesca Scola conquers by playing the role of the protagonist, as evidenced by the award for best setter won both in 2017 and 2018. Meanwhile, great satisfactions also come with the national team: in the blue jersey she won the Under 18 World Championship in Argentina and the Under 19 European title in Tirana.
The moment of the big leap comes at the’beginning of the 2018-2019 season when she moves to Club Italia and experiences the excitement of her debut in Serie A1, totaling 24 appearances. In the next two championships, Francesca Scola matures an important experience in Serie A2 at LPM Bam Mondovì. In the summer of 2021 she signs with Del Savio Vallefoglia and returns to Serie A1, playing six games. In the 2022-2023 championship he switched to Casalmaggiore where he totaled 12 appearances. Last season, finally, the return to Piedmont where she wore the jersey of San Bernardo Cuneo" this is the statement issued by UYBA.

I can’t wait to play at the E-work Arena: every time I came there as an opponent, the cheering was è felt, and how… I am glad this time to have it on my side. Playing in the top league already for a few years, I have gained more experience that I now want to put at the disposal of the team" these, instead, are the first statements of Francesca Scola as a new red and white player.
