After winning in Game 1, Olimpia Milano made the court factor count again in Game 2 by defeating Germani Brescia with a score of 77-66, taking a 2-0 lead in the LBA playoff semifinal series. In the post-game, Leonessa head coach Alessandro Magro, in addition to analyzing the defeat of his boys, turned his attention toward the crucial Game 3.

"We expected a different game from Game 1. It was unthinkable to redo a 100-point game. The level of physicalityà è was very high. We tried to put up the cover, protect the area and we were pretty good. Obviously the deck è short, we exposed ourselves to their excellent ball circulation. They found a lot of important baskets even in situations where it looked like we could get back in the game" began Germani Brescia’s head coach.

"To play at this level against teams of this caliber you have to be able to collect effective offense and defense consecutively. We didn't do that and we lost some bloody balls. We are 2-0 to Milan and they won again with merit, forò this è a group that showed quality and pride, we owe it to ourselves and to our city. Now we are expecting game 3 at home and we will do everything we can to extend the series" continued the Leonessa coach.

"I think we can do certain things better, we have a group that has huge qualities". This season è so good that I would like it not to end, so we will have to go on the court with the willà to spend ourselves and extend the series. In game 2 we tried, but they were able to respond with triples in the moments when it seemed we could come back" concluded Alessandro Magro.
