Max Verstappen responds in kind to market rumors
Max Verstappen speaks out about the future
During an interview given to the microphones of "The Guardian", Max Verstappen, among the various topics covered, spoke bluntly about the increasingly insistent market rumors regarding his possible farewell to Red Bull as a result of the Christian Horner case.
"The moreù I talk about it, the more; people have to write about it and I am a little bit fed up with that, because stories are being built and it becomes a huge mess. I speak and then there are translations in Spanish, Dutch or any other language that don't tell the truth. I would rather there not be all these stories, these are things that happen within the team and we have to deal with and move on. I have a contract with the team to do my job, provide level performance. I am not a politician and with the people around me I only talk about my performance on the track, trying to distract myself from the negative things that happen outside" began the Dutch driver.
"My father will remain" always with me, of course. He and Horner are not in conflict. People can have different opinions, but this è another story. When I switched to Red Bull, Christian è was a pillar in this decision" added the three-time world champion.
"I am a loyal person and that means a lot to me. This è what I ask of the team and so far this aspect è has always been fantastic and I want it to remain soì for a long time. It would be great to close at Red Bull, to spend an’entire career at one team would be incredible" Max Verstappen commented.
