Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1 boss but also and especially former Ferrarista, spoke about Charles Leclerc.
“A great driver must be a reference point for the team. These are important years for him, he must demand a competitive car and avoid mistakes,” he told La Stampa.
“If Ferrari wins, Formula 1 is happy but today the competition is much tougher. The approach is different, saying ‘we are Ferrari’ is no longer enough. The company’s top management has made choices that will bear fruit, the important thing is not to get emotional. In 2022 Ferrari after three Grands Prix had a fifty point lead, Verstappen said ‘game over,’ the championship seemed to be over. Then we know what Red Bull did.”
