England and Switzerland will face each other in the third quarterfinal of Euro 2024. Kickoff at 6 p.m. at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf. The three lions, in the previous round, eliminated Slovakia 2-1 in extra time, while the Helvetians won with a clear 2-0 victory over Luciano Spalletti's Italy.

Southgate, accomplice to Guehi's absence through disqualification, could field the 3-man defense consisting of Walker, Stones and Konsa. In midfield, space for Rice and Mainoo, with Saka and Trippier as full-backs. In attack, the Kane-Foden-Bellingham trident is confirmed.

Yakin could also make some changes from the success with Italy. On the offensive side, there should be Embolo as center forward, with Ndoye and Rieder as trequartists. On the right flank, however, the returning Widmer should win the ballot with Vargas.
