Ferrari, Charles Leclerc does not lose optimism
Ferrari, Charles Leclerc does not give up
Despite a complicated period, as evidenced by his only points finish in Barcelona in the last four GPs, Charles Leclerc has not lost his optimism for the continuation of the season. "In the last few races we are not where we would like to be,” he admitted to BBC microphones, “and my priority is to be back in the fight for victory"”
"The goal remains the world championship – added the Monegasque -. For the rest è it is important for me to remain motivated and optimistic. Ferrari è two-tenths of a second from the best but if we put everything together it is not è so absurd to catch up with them, we must believe".
"I think Fred has two strengths that are fundamental in F1, especially in a team with as much pressure as Ferrari,” Charles went on to explain: first, he knows how to remain calm and he wants the team to be calm as well, regardless of whether the result on the track is a win or a loss. Then he knows how to put each team member in the best conditions to work".
"As for myself, I think I have always been very honest and maybe a little too harsh in judging myself. But so far it has always worked, especially now that there’è Fred" concluded Leclerc.
