Daniele De Rossi reveals market priority and è outspoken about Paulo Dybala’s future

During an interview given to the microphones of the "Gazzetta dello Sport", Roma coach Daniele De Rossi, among other topics, took stock of both incoming and outgoing operations carried out so far by the club and highlighted the priority in view of these last weeks of the market to further strengthen the squad. In addition, the former Giallorossi captain also commented on the future of Paulo Dybala, on whom Saudi Arabia has reportedly come forward.

"We have too many players, as with Everton I had as many as 31. There are players who will leave us and go to play elsewhere. With such a large roster you don&#39t work well, let&#39s see if we can place someone and then we will go back to look at the incoming market. To say that we are missing someone would be disrespectful to those who are there, but it is obvious that someone will leave because they deserve to have the space that I cannot guarantee them. We will see what will happen, but if someone goes away we will insert strong players" began the Giallorossi coach.

"I do not make the lineup based on market rumors. Against Everton I put the team I wanted to see on the field: we are starting to approach the championship and we have to be more and more like what we should be. Those who were in England are all Roma players, then we will see what will happen; and this speech does not only apply to Dybala, but to everyone. I am not going to chain anyone, so whoever wants to leave è free to do so" added the former midfielder.

"I am happy with the way we have worked, both in England and in Trigoria, always very intensively. The newcomers will give us a hand to complete the team, which was already strong and came from a good championship, from what I could assess in the second half of the season. The squad needed to be reinforced, we needed players of the same quality as the starters and we are getting closer to the goal" concluded Daniele De Rossi.
