Thiago Motta spoke to Sky Sport a few days before the league debut: "From Bologna to Juve, I always have the same idea of soccer. Now è a new period with a team that we are building, a team that is improving day by day. We are ready to face the first championship game".

"Almost throughout my life inside soccer, I have been in this world for so many years, I have seen so many high-level things and today we are at a very high level,” continued the Juventus coach. “We have to maintain the same commitment, determination, concentration and ambition day after day. We are part of a very big club and all of us are important, no one indispensable, but all important".

"We have to give our best to raise the level of this club more and more. I by beautiful game I mean having a team balance that can defend very well, a team that defends together, that has the desire to have the ball, a team that attacks together. Beautiful game means many things, a great mental, physical and technical effort on the field to be able to make the beautiful game".

Closing with dribbling on goals: "My goal this year with Juventus is to think already about the first league game against a team that will have enthusiasm, becauseé they have done a very good Serie B and all the teams that make this path and go up soì in Serie A, normally at the beginning of the season, they maintain this enthusiasm becauseé they come from so many victories to go up to Serie A. And we have to face them focused and determined to do a good performance to get the results we are looking for".
