Carlo Pernat believes in Yamaha and snubs Honda

On the occasion of the Misano Adriatico Gp, Enea Bastianini’s manager Carlo Pernat, who spoke to the microphones of the various media, dwelt on the moment and the future prospects of Yamaha and Honda. With regard to the house of Iwata, in addition, the Genoese manager revealed a market backstory related to the Rimini centaur.

"On Yamaha I would not hesitate to put chips. Time a couple of years and it will be back to the top, because they have taken important people like Massimo Bortolini. They are investing a lot of money, they will have Pramac with them with Paolo Campionti, who will give them a big hand in the development process" began the Genoese executive as quoted in "FormulaPassion".

"We with Enea were very close to going to them before signing with KTM. We were not far from closing the negotiation. On the fact that Yamaha will regain its competitiveness, I could put my hand on it, while on Honda I have very big question marks" added the manager of the Rimini centaur.

"You cannotò continue to have a kind of European championship among manufacturers. I strongly believe that the Iwata house will makeà steps forward between the end of this season and next. It could return to a stable top 10" concluded Carlo Pernat.
