Gerry Cardinale spoke during the IMG x RedBird summit event: "What I am trying to do è bring to European soccer what I have learned in 30 years in the US. There'è a great opportunity; to bring Milan back to the glory of yesteryear".
"RedBird has been pushing to improve the team’s performance both on and off the field,” he added to the Financial Times. “He has ambitious plans to build a new state-of-the-art stadium to replace the aging San Siro, which the club shares with rival Inter".
"Last year the club posted its first annual profit in 17 years,” he concluded. “The stadium project è proved controversial, with local politicians wanting the two clubs to jointly invest in existing facilities".
