Pecco Bagnaia closes pre-qualifying for the Grand Prix of Emilia Romagna in the lead. On the Misano track, the Ducati centaur set a new track record, lapping in 1'30"286, putting all his rivals behind him ahead of Saturday’s qualifying.
Behind the reigning world champion there'è the Ducati Pramac of MotoGP leader Jorge Martin, who ended the session earlier due to a crash at Turn 8, and the Ducati Gresini of Marc Marquez, three tenths away.
In fourth place the other official Ducati of Enea Bastianini, ahead of an excellent Fabio Quartararo, fifth with his Yamaha. Sixth place for Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Pramac), who preceded Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team), seventh, and Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), eighth. Closing the top 10 were Pedro Acosta (GasGas Tech3) and Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia).
