Pecco Bagnaia first but with one regret

The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix weekend could not have started better for Pecco Bagnaia. After finishing in the lead on Friday’s free practice with a record-breaking lap, the reigning world champion è confirmed himself in Saturday’s qualifying, taking pole position and retouching the track record.

The Ducati centaur, however, admitted one regret to the microphones of Sky Sports at the end of qualifying: "Too bad we were close to 29, but it was too fresh to dare especially on the left turns. Unfortunately, I don’t know whyé, they painted the white lines and the inside ones are slippery, you have to be more careful. So you either go on the curb or keep away".

"For sure, Martin and I are the fastest as the pace, it will be essential to start well, unfortunately the starts after qualifying were not the best, but let’s see later if we can improve" concluded Bagnaia.

The Piedmontese rider scattersà from the first position both in the Sprint Race, scheduled at 3 p.m., and in Sunday’s race, set for 1 p.m.
