Jannik Sinner opens up about his relationship with Anna Kalinskaya

Jannik Sinner in an interview with CCTV (Chinese state television) on the sidelines of the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing è opened up about his relationship with Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya. The Blue's shy kiss to his partner in the stands of the Arthur Ashe after his triumph at the US Open è was one of the most memorable images of tennis in 2024.

"The kiss to Anna? I think it is a personal life thing, but è it was a nice moment – are the words of the South Tyrolean – If we help each other in our profession? No, we cheer each other on and support each other as much as we can, but as tennis players we are very different. But when we succeed we always try to support each other and follow our matches, and that gives me a lot of positive energy".

Anna Kalinskaya was also in Jannik Sinner’s box at the final with Carlos Alcaraz, which the Spaniard won in three sets.

After the match the Iberian paid a nice compliment to the San Candido tennis player: "You are very humble, I wish you many successes throughout your career. I respect you a lot as a player but even more as a person. You have great people around you. Also today you showed whyé you are the best in the world, mentally and physically you are a beast".
