Bad news for Paulo Fonseca just days before the match against Fiorentina. The Milan coach, in fact, will have to forgo Davide Calabria for the match at the Artemio Franchi on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, due to injury.
According to "Sky Sport" reports, the Rossoneri captain reportedly finished the last training session prematurely due to a muscle problem in his left calf.
In the coming hours, the player will carry out routine instrumental examinations to assess the real extent of the injury and establish with certainty the recovery time. Against Fiorentina, therefore, it will be Emerson Royal’s turn once again as right-back. Completing the defense there should be Gabbia, Pavlovic and Theo Hernandez.
