No dice for Matteo Arnaldi, who was eliminated from the Shanghai Masters 1000 after a long fight for his second career victory against a Top 10 player.

L'Azzurro, a rookie in the prestigious Chinese tournament in which he had never yet participated in his career, è was defeated for the fourth time in as many previous matches by Daniil Medvedev, who è imposed himself with a final score of 5-7 6-4 6-4.
