LeBron James and his son Bronny are entering NBA history. The two, in fact, are the first father-son pair to play at the same time, and what’s more; on the same team (Los Angeles Lakers, ed.), a game, albeit a friendly one, in the NBA.

The historic record è occurred early in the second quarter of the pre-season match between the Lakers and the Phoenix Suns, who won 118-114, at Acrisure Arena in the Coachella Valley. This extraordinary moment è coincidentally occurred on Bronny’s 20th birthday.

Bronny è stayed on the court only 13 minutes without scoring a single point, while LeBron finished 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in just over 16 minutes, making him the top scorer of the yellow-violet team.

LeBron James, visibly excited, said after the match: "Playing with my son è a dream come true. È just the’beginning for him, and I know he has the potential to do great things". His son Bronny echoed him: " È an honor to share the field with my father, but I know I have to improve. È an’incredible experience, but è only the’beginning of the job".
