Lorenzo Musetti immediately out in Shanghai

It's already ended Lorenzo Musetti's adventure at the Shanghai Masters 1000. The Italian tennis player è was defeated in a comeback by David Goffin with a score of 1-6 7-6 6-2, greeting his tournament debut with a healthy dose of regret.

In the first set there'è only the Carrara native on the court, as he very quickly flew out to a 5-0 lead and took just under half an hour to close out the partial 6-1. In the second set, è again Musetti commanded the game, posting the break in the fifth game. Goffin, however, did not give up and in the eighth game brought the score back to even. Between the ninth and the eleventh game, the Italian missed five chances to serve for the match and the partial slipped to the tie-break, where the Belgian was more incisive and closed the score at 8-6.

In the third and decisive set, the world number 18 definitely comes out of the match both physically and mentally: Goffin immediately places the break in the opening, then repeats himself four games later. At that point, for the Belgian the road è all downhill until the 6-2 final.

In the next round, David Goffin will face U.S. player Marcos Giron, who defeated Karen Khachanov in the opener with a score of 6-3 6-4.
