The words of Filippo Ganna

Filippo Ganna has announced that he will not participate in the World Track Cycling Championships, scheduled to be held in Ballerup (in Denmark) from Oct. 16 to 20.

“I’m skipping them this year. After the Cro Race I will run the Grand Piedmont again and then I close. Balance of the season? At the individual level I am fully satisfied. A silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris and at the World Championships in Zurich, where we also took 3° place in the mixed relay. È it went well, come on”.

"Future? I haven’t decided yet, for now I’m fine with itì. In the future we will see. I will devote myself more to the road by preparing specific races and devote myself less to the track", he also added to The Voice of the People.

Closing remark on his record of the’hour: “For now it’s fine in the drawer and will remain there’for a long time. Later we will see, but for now I don’t think about it as it’s a very tiring experience, not only the attempt itself, but also all the specific preparation that goes upstream".
