Adriano Panatta finds new job for Jannik Sinner: "Perfect as butcher"

Adriano Panatta unabashedly in podcast with Paolo Bertolucci after Jannik Sinner’s triumph at the Shanghai Masters 1000. The Italian tennis player won the 17th tournament of his career at age 23, crashing Novak Djokovic in the final. Panatta è restarted just from the South Tyrolean's supremacy in 2024: "All players, even those less prestigious than Djokovic, play one set and then he shreds them".

"He has a meat grinder that he puts into operation slowly, and in the end his opponents become meatballs, some in sauce, some fried, but always meatballs. He could easily be a butcher becauseé he chops up opponents, chops them", joked Panatta.

"In my opinion do you know where è improved a lot? He moves 4-5 times better than he did a year ago,” Panatta continued.

By now his stretches have surpassed Djokovic’s, he rebounds balls in extension a meter from the baseline".

Comparisons are wasted, and the'only one who can beat him at the moment seems to be Alcaraz: "Now they will say that he will doà like the Big Four, I say you have to wait a minute, becauseé how much have they won? I wish him to win even more;. He however è without a doubt the number one, I was disappointed in Alcaraz. I think next year they have to work a lot on Alcaraz to counter Sinner".
