The magical year can give you one more shot in the arm.

Jannik Sinner has experienced a record-breaking 2024, racking up victories and establishing himself as the No. 1 on the ATP circuit. His journey toò may not be over yet, with a new milestone that the South Tyrolean may yet achieve to further rewrite the history of the discipline.

With the season yet to conclude, Sinner has already è won two Slams, the Australian Open and US Open to be precise, and three ATP Masters 1000s. And already this achievement puts him on par with only ten other players in tennis history. There'è però still one more chance to do even better: Paris Bercy.

In fact, at the moment there are only three tennis players capable of winning four or more Masters 1000s in a single year. And, needless to say, their names are Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic. After his Shanghai triumph, Sinner could now take another step toward matching the legends of his three illustrious colleagues by adding Paris Bercy of all places to his season’s trophy cabinet.

Already; the names that keep him company among those who have won three are at an all-time high level anyway. In addition to the "usual" Federer, Djokovic and Nadal, those who have managed to win three Masters 1000s in one year have been since 1990 (when this type of tournament was born) Edberg, Sampras, Agassi, Muster, Rios and Murray. And, since 2024, Sinner.
