Nadir Maguet, an athlete from Valle d’Aosta, born in 1993, set a new speed record along the Translagorai Classic, the course that runs entirely through the Lagorai mountain range, from Passo Rolle to Panarotta. The “Mago”’s stopwatch è stopped at 9h57’14’’, gaining yet another record in his sporting career as a multifaceted athlete.

Born from cross-country skiing and then moved on to ski mountaineering and mountain running, today Nadir combines his passion for mountaineering with a marked experience in skyrunning, a discipline that allows him to constantly challenge himself in extreme environments, experiencing the mountains in an intense way and in deep connection with nature. Hence the choice to approach one of the most’well known routes in Trentino: with its impervious and wild paths, in fact, Translagorai Classic crosses rocky ridges and isolated valleys that give an’experience of total immersion in an uncontaminated context.

Nadir Maguet’s achievement not è only symbolizes the accomplishment of a sporting challenge, but also a trust and bond to an area that does not lend itself to traditional running and sports competitions because of its rocky conformation and highly technical passages.

The backdrop of the Lagorai mountains not only represents the roots of La Sportiva, but also the terrain where the equipment is born and repeatedly tested. "I am thrilled to have completed with such a satisfactory time the first part of a project dear to me as Translagorai Classic – comments Nadir Maguet excitedly -. I will challengeò again the Transalgorai with skis on my feet. I am preparing hard and I am determined to give my all to set a new record".
