World Track Championships, Italy bronze in women's team pursuit
Italy's quartet of Martina Fidanza, Chiara Consonni, Martina Alzini and Vittoria Guazzini won the bronze medal in the women's team pursuit of the Track Cycling World Championships
In the Super Arena in Ballerup, Denmark, the Italian women riders beat Canada in the final for third place. For Italy è it was the third medal in four years in this race.
In fact, the Italian women won silver in 2021 and gold in 2022, while last year they had to settle for fourth place. The gold è went to Great Britain, which beat Germany.
