Bad news for Fiorentina: Albert Gudmundsson will have to stop for at least a month after the injury sustained during the hard-fought match with Lecce. Here is the statement published on its official website by the purple club.
“ACF Fiorentina announces that, in the morning of today, the footballer Albert Gudmundsson è underwent radiological examinations to assess the’entityà of the injury occurred during the match with Lecce on Sunday, October 20”.
“Diagnostic tests performed showed a grade I/II injury to the myotendinous junction of the femoral biceps femoris of the right thigh. The player has already started the therapeutic course established by the purple medical staff”.
