Bologna-Milan postponed due to bad weather

The bad weather emergency continues to hit Emilia Romagna, forcing the postponement of the match between Bologna and AC Milan, a match valid for the eighth day of Serie A, which was to be played Saturday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m. at the Renato Dall'Ara stadium. This was announced è by the municipality of the capital of Emilia through an official note.

"Bologna-Milan will not be played at the Dall’Ara stadium on Saturday,” it reads. The mayor, having consulted with the Questore and the Prefect, this afternoon in fact signed an’ordinance ordering the suspension of the soccer match scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Renato Dall’Ara&quot stadium.

"The decision è was shared with the prefecture: the Bologna-Milan match would bring to the Dall’Ara stadium, in Via Andrea Costa and therefore near the city’s most critical area, about 35,000 people, with consequent public order problems due to the presence of the fans and the closure of traffic in the entire surrounding area from early afternoon and until night" closes the Bologna Municipality statement.

A recovery date has not è yet been decided. What is è certain è is that Milan will have to do without Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders, who have been disqualified, in the big match with Napoli, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 8:45 p.m., in the only midweek round of the entire championship.
