He will be a former of the evening but almost no one talks about it, to the point that Thiago Motta, in the press conference of presentation of the challenge between his Juventus and Inter, explained what could be the reason, in his opinion, why his Nerazzurri past has been little mentioned at the level of rivalry in these days of preparations for the Derby d'Italia.

"I played for Inter Milan, but also for Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Genoa and Paris Saint-Germain,” said Motta, who this year picked up Max Allegri's legacy on the Bianconeri bench.

In all my experiences I have tried to do the right things not only on a sporting level, but also from a human" point of view.

"I have never hidden anything, I have always been myself everywhere,” added the Juventus coach, “for better or for worse. With people I have always behaved well and so wherever I show up as a former I am welcomed in turn well. I can only say thank you to those who always remain kind to me".

Inter and Juventus will face each other on Sunday evening at the San Siro in a challenge that promises sparks: it will be played at 6 p.m. with the Nerazzurri coming from five consecutive successes between the league and Champions (Udinese, Red Star, Torino, Roma and Young Boys being the victims) and the Bianconeri, on the other hand, wanting to redeem themselves from the home knockout against Stuttgart (0-1) on the third day of the top European competition.
