Jasmine Paolini spoke on the eve of the start of the WTA Finals in Riyadh: "I try to focus and at the same time have fun, è it is important to recognize where I have arrived. It's an amazing competition, è a privilege to be here. I am happy to compete in singles and doubles".

" Sara Errani? She helps me so much, I don’t think it’s accidental that these results came all at once. I started playing doubles every week and I improved in singles as well. Sara I think helps me a lot. I ask her a lot of questions. She is a different kind of player from me, I am trying to also steal something from her tennis, from her  way of understanding the game. She è more tactical than me inside the court. Playing doubles with her I think has helped me understand the game better".

"If someone had told me at the beginning that I was going to play the WTA Finals in singles and doubles it would have been crazy,” she admitted.
