MotoGP, Pecco Bagnaia reiterates: ‘I am stronger on Sunday’
Tenth win of the season for Pecco Bagnaia
Pecco Bagnaia does not give up. The reigning World Champion fights like a gladiator and takes home the victory in Sepang, home of the Malaysian GP. A victory that brings him back to -24 from World Championship leader Jorge Martin and, most importantly, postpones the “delivery” of the title to Barcelona, the new final venue of the season (instead of Valencia).
The Ducati rider è reached 10 wins in the season (sixth ever to do so in MotoGP): “Sunday we are stronger. I knew I had more, I knew I could go away. We did a great job all weekend, we will try to improve on Saturday. Winning 10 races è incredible”, his words to Sky Sports.
“Jorge è been very aggressive but I had the right pace. As always, on Sunday, I can be aggressive. I have to figure out whyé on Saturday I can’t be as aggressive. I definitely have to improve on Saturday”, the analysis of the race by Pecco Bagnaia himself.
On the’last appointment in Barcelona with 24 points behind Jorge Martin: “Think the'irony of fate, without the Sprints I would have 24 points ahead of Jorge Martin, instead I am at -24. However, you have to accept it. You have to improve in the Sprint".
