From Andre Agassi high praise for Jannik Sinner

During “Dialogues on Talent”, an event at the Cuneo Sports Hall attended by thousands of high school students from the Piedmont province, Andre Agassi, in a video-link from the United States, expressed very nice words for Jannik Sinner.

Agassi could not be present in person at the’event due to personal problems, his wife Steffi Graf, however, was there. The world No. 1 South Tyrolean, for his part, is preparing for the ATP Finals in Turin. Here are the words regarding Sinner, reported by gazzetta.it, from the 54-year-old from Las Vegas who won eight Grand Slam tournaments and was himself world No. 1 for 93 weeks from 1995 to 2003.

“About Sinner, I was impressed by his humility and attentiveness to everyone. I adore him, è it’s easy to get along with him because he’s a very interesting person. If there’è one thing I appreciated so much when I was a tennis player è the feeling you get when you hit the ball: Jannik does it in a simply perfect way, that feeling of perfection that I was always looking for too”.

“Darren (Cahill, Jannik’s coach, ed) always has the right words at the right time, having coached so many world No. 1s: me, Hewitt, Simona Halep and now Jannik. È by far the best coach along with’my other coach Brad Gilbert”.
