In the field (21:00, San Siro) for a place in the quarters

The most interesting phase of the Coppa Italia begins today. It starts with the round of 16 (dry knockout matches). Today there are two matches, both valid for the round of 16, namely Bologna-Monza (18:30) and Milan-Sassuolo, the latter scheduled at San Siro starting at 21:00.

Fonseca reiterated that he cares deeply about the Coppa Italia. The Diavolo have not won this trophy since as far back as 2003, all the more reason to try to go all the way. However, there's also to manage as best as possible the many commitments on the calendar. Hence, the need to resort to a massive turnover.

With Maignan and Theo Hernandez unavailable, Fonseca would be thinking of completely changing the back pack. In goal will be Sportiello while the four in defense should be Terracciano, Pavlovic, Tomori and Calabria. The feeling è that, in the middle of the field, there will be no major changes.

Both Fofana and Reijnders, the latter in a golden moment, should play from the first minute. Rest for Pulisic and Morata. Forward space for Chukwueze and Loftus-Cheek but with Leao in his place. The Portuguese should have a starting shirt. His talent could make the difference and allow Milan to file quickly. At the center of the attack, Abraham with Camarda ready to take over.
