Third coach for Sampdoria, which after relying first on Andrea Pirlo and then Andrea Sottil has decided to change course again after the very heavy defeat suffered at the hands of Sassuolo.
The new coach of the Blucerchiata formation è Leonardo Semplici, who has put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
For Semplici immediately a return to the past: in the next round of the championship Sampdoria will face Spezia, a team that the Tuscan coach led for a few months in 2023 without managing to avoid relegation to the cadetteria.
